Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data FairVend Ltd collects when you interact with us, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR.
What we collect
- Contact details you provide via the contact, quote, or service-call forms (name, company, email, phone, and the details of your enquiry)
- With your consent, website analytics via Google Analytics (see Cookies and analytics below)
- Operational data from our own machines, used purely for servicing and stock management
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a quote
- To manage our service relationship: stocking, servicing, and billing
- To improve the website and our operations
Cookies and analytics
The website works without any tracking by default. Two kinds of browser storage are involved:
- Essential storage (always on): your cookie choice, whether you've dismissed the announcement banner, and a temporary in-tab copy of anything you type into our enquiry forms so a validation error doesn't lose your answers. Our enquiry forms also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-respecting bot check that protects the forms from spam (a security measure, so no consent is needed). None of this identifies you.
- Analytics cookies (only with your consent): if you
choose "Accept analytics" on our cookie banner, we load Google
Analytics 4, which sets cookies (such as
_ga) and tells us which pages are visited, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. We use this solely to understand how the site is used and improve it. Google acts as our processor; analytics data is retained for 14 months. If you don't consent, Google Analytics is never loaded at all.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page.
Your rights
You can request a copy of any data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing privacy@fairvend.co.uk.

This is a working draft for the new site. A reviewed, solicitor-checked version will replace it before the site goes live under the fairvend.co.uk domain.
